Refund policy

At Stork Baby Gifts, we take great pride in creating beautiful, high-quality baby gift sets. Each set goes through a careful preparation process, including a quality check and a final snapshot for customers before shipping out. Because of this, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges.

That being said, we totally understand that sometimes, things happen! Here’s what you need to know:

1. If Your Gift Set Goes Missing

If your gift set decides to take a little unexpected detour and goes missing during delivery, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered.
Once we’ve completed our delivery investigation and confirmed the parcel is truly missing, you may choose:
- A full refund OR
- We’ll prepare a brand-new set and send it over (please allow 3-5 days for this).

*Please note: No action will be taken until the investigation is complete.

2. Fully Personalized Product

Our products are fully customized and pre-ordered, made specially for your occasion. Once an order is confirmed, it is non-refundable, as preparation and materials are already arranged specifically for your set.

3. Minor Delivery Mishaps

We reinforce our packaging to keep your gift set safe during its journey. However, slight bumps may still happen. If you notice any damage upon arrival, let us know! Compensation for damage is at our discretion, based on the condition of the item.

4. Defective Items? We’ve Got That Covered Too!

We handpick every item (rompers, bibs, socks, etc.) and ensure they meet our quality standards before use. For brand-name products like Merries diapers, rest assured they come straight from trusted suppliers. If you believe you’ve received a defective item:
- Snap a picture and reach out via Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. If it's past 24 hours, unfortunately, we won’t be able to assist further.

5. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns if the packaging is opened or the product is used. Items like diapers, rompers, and other baby essentials must remain fully packed for any return requests to be considered.

6. What About Returns?

As we said earlier, returns are super rare! But if a return is approved:
- Customers can drop off the item at any DHL pickup store after getting our confirmation.
- No need to worry about return shipping fees—we’ll handle it!

7. Refunds & Store Credit

Refunds, store credit, or replacements will be offered depending on the situation.
- Refunds will be processed to the same bank account or card used at checkout.
- Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
